Tara Avidar is a licensed medical aesthetician and laser specialist with more than 20 years of clinical experience using lasers and energy-based devices. Throughout her career, she has worked alongside physicians in endocrinology, dermatology, and plastic surgery.
Her work is deeply personal. After struggling with severe cystic acne for seven years and repeatedly leaving appointments without real answers, Tara became determined to understand what truly changes skin—and what does not.
As co-founder of The Skin Science Collective and an active member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Tara brings a science-first, results-driven approach to every patient. She helps people cut through confusing claims, avoid ineffective treatments, and choose the solutions most likely to make a meaningful difference.

Dr. Lauren Saltzburg is a board-certified physician specializing in cosmetic medicine and surgical and non-surgical hair restoration.
Before becoming a physician, she worked as a pediatric neurology nurse at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She later earned her medical degree, MBA in Healthcare Administration, and master’s degree in Biomedical Ethics from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
As The Skin Science Collective’s medical director, Dr. Saltzburg guides our clinical standards, patient safety, and science-based approach to care. She is also a national speaker and Key Opinion Leader for Sciton, training medical professionals in advanced laser resurfacing. Her expertise in lasers, injectables, hair restoration, and regenerative medicine helps ensure every treatment we offer is thoughtful, safe, and supported by science.

Lisa Holloway is a registered nurse with 40 years of experience, including 28 years spent as a lead nurse in plastic surgery.
Her path into plastic surgery began with a personal health crisis that required reconstructive care. Going through reconstruction herself showed Lisa how skilled, compassionate treatment can help someone feel whole again. That experience shaped the nurse—and later the aesthetic provider—she chose to become.
At The Skin Science Collective, Lisa brings that same purpose to Botox, dermal fillers, and collagen-building injectables. Her approach is thoughtful and restrained: restore what time has changed, enhance what is already there, and help each patient feel confident and beautiful without distortion.
